Home Alone

Hello, mid-week!

Today we found out David will be travelling overseas for his work for almost 3 weeks. He was gone for almost all of May and it was tough!

This time will be better because I have two kitties and Dixie to keep me company. I miss him so much when he is gone (especially overseas!!) but I try to appreciate the extended “me time.” He leaves Friday :-/

IMG_5675Morning began with a Flat Out wrap smeared with PB and a huge green monster!

IMG_5679In the spirit of babysitting for the day, I combined several smaller foods to create my lunch… a big peach, Kashi cereal, a granola bar, edamame and grape tomatoes.

I enjoyed (two… oops!) cups of Kashi Heart to Heart with soy milk before heading to the gym.

I squeezed in 25 minutes of mixed cardio at the gym before heading to the local park with David to practice some tennis. David eventually played a match with another guy so I did some strength training in the park. It was fun using only park equipment to get in a great workout.

Dinner was at Carrabba’s… a few pieces from the bread basket, an Italian salad and another cheese-less pizza! Delicious… and so unfortunate that I forgot my camera and couldn’t get a photo of it!
