I bought a red bandana for Dixie to wear.. she thought it made a better toy!
Breakfast was some form of pancakes. I combined 1/4 c. Bisquick Heart Smart (have to use it up from a while ago!), 1/4 c. oats, 1 huge banana, soymilk and cinnamon. All of that’s great… but I forgot the flax- my egg replacer! Ooops! They were still edible, just nothing like a pancake!
Mid-morning I had some Kombucha and a fruit pop :)
Lunch was healthy and ready in less than 10 minutes! I had a Dr. Praeger’s burger heated on the skillet (totally fell apart); spinach sautéed with garlic, lemon and nutritional yeast; a piece of wheat bread; and organic baby carrots with soy ginger dressing for dipping!
To satisfy a chocolate craving I had my own version of chocolate milk… soy milk shaken with Amazing Grass chocolate power and a bit of sugar. It tasted yummy, but doesn’t it look pretty gross? ;)
Since today seemed to be all about snacks, I had a POM pomegranate kiwi juice (super-strong, but reeeeeaallly yummy!) and a granola bar.
Would you believe I had another fruit bar? So yummy.
Later I had a honeycrisp apple! These apples just scream FALL!
I’m so excited to bring in Fall with pumpkin oats, chai tea and baked squash.
What are your favorite Fall foods?
Haha- I posted this and totally forgot to mention I ran 7 miles after the apple! Still working on dinner now :)
