I’m going to postpone my post about personal training and my experience/plans… it’ll be a fairly hefty post and today I have to be quick!
I’m not quite sure when it happened, but it’s definitely official: I am addicted to exercise. About this time last year I was running 3 miles a few times a week and had just signed up for my first 10K and half marathon. Now I’m a personal trainer, taking 64 mile bike rides, taking power yoga classes and running 15 miles on a Friday. I am surely not the same girl I was before!
Tonight I am attending a Team in Training info meeting about running the Disney Princess half marathon in March. Will you all support me if I sign up?
And I’m trying to figure out how I can pay for the Florida Half Ironman. Yep, crazy.
This morning I started the day with the best. I had banana oats, of course! After breakfast I met yogi Ryan at College Park Yoga for an intense 90 minute power yoga class. The teacher was a substitute for the owners and she was awesome! I was really focused on the practice during class, which is totally the point!
Ryan and I continued the gorgeous day with lunch at Infusion Tea.
Healthy minds think alike. We both ordered 1/2 a pesto panini with a 1/2 Milton Salad and a Tea of the Day. Today’s tea was a hibiscus berry and the refills were abundant! Awesome! Lunch was indescribably fantastic.
Instead of purchasing a vegan chocolate chip cookie from Whole Foods on my way home, I decided to make my own! I bought the vegan chocolate chips from WF and followed this recipe, but I added flax and used some applesauce in mine.
I’m not quite sure how I feel about the recipe just yet. But you wouldn’t know that considering how many cookies I ate!
I’ve been applying for jobs all afternoon! Cross your fingers the perfect job works out for me! Now I’m off for a 5 mile run before the Team in Training meeting!
Have you ever run a race for charity?
