Al from Country Bob's was wonderful enough to send me two bottles of the Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce to review. It's good! It reminds me of a Worcestershire sauce. I would definitely use this on steak (well, more like on David's steak!) and in cooking.
The ingredients are pretty simple: tomato concentrate, vinegar, corn syrup, sugar, molasses, salt, onion powder, caramel color, garlic powder, tamarind, corn starch, natural flavors and other spices. I could live without the corn syrup, but what are you going to do?
The Best Sweet Potato Fires Ever.
1 sweet potato sliced thin lengthwise
1 Tbs. Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce
1 Tsp. Oil (I used sunflower)
Few dashes pepper
Few dashes garlic salt
Toss all ingredients together. Place on a cooling rack on top of a cookie sheet. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes. Then savor the goodness.
I always use ketchup but I had to eat these plain to make sure I didn't miss out on any of the great flavor. I've made these fries before, but I swear the Country Bob's All Purpose Sauce made a big impact.
The Country Bob's has tons f recipes here.
