Papa Jon Pizza

This keeps happening. I photograph a day's full of eats, but everything ends up looking blah in comparison to one or two meals. So, you get what looks like a one-meal-a-day-Ashley :)
Breakfast included a gigantic half of a cantaloupe, toast and a venti soy strawberries and cream frap. The drink was delicious, but it definitely left me feeling less-than-fabulous. Sugary treats taste amazing, but I'm noticing the way they make me feel and I don't like it too much!
Today was busy so it became an off day from exercise. My body still wanted to sweat, so I slipped in a one mile run during my lunch break. It was great!

Dinner tonight was courtesy of Papa Jon! Supposedly Jon has been experimenting with the perfect healthy yet delicious pizza.
Jon branched out by making the pizza vegan tonight. Most pizzas are regularly vegan when ordered without cheese. We used simple red pepper, onion, spinach and sauce for our toppings. And spices- lots of garlic and Italian seasonings!

I will put my name to this: Jon knows how to make one mean pizza. I also appreciate that his cooking style mirrors mine- "a little of this, a little of that!"

I was so excited when the masterpiece was finally ready. It was delicious!!

As I always say, after every great meal comes dessert. I contributed frozen fruit pops from Whole Foods.
Jon decided to mix it up a little and have some ice cream after his fruit pop. Oh, boys!
Overall, it was a fantastic day! Time for bed. Three hours of sleep before I head out to Minnesota for Grandma's Marathon! Thank God I get to sleep on the plane!

What are your favorite pizza toppings?
