My new Garmin Forerunner 305 has arrived!!!
I ordered this baby Friday after spending thirty minutes planning a route for my 20-mile run and then accidentally deleting it! I’m excited to use the Garmin to improve my speed, monitor my progress and allow me to run with more freedom! Now I can explore!
To show you all my food today would look something like this:
Yeah, I’ve had a lot of carbs today! I love my grains, but I need some veggies, too!
For breakfast I had two cups of Kashi GoLean Crunch with almond milk. LOVE. Working at a doctor’s office has a major perk: drug reps bring in free food all the time. Today they brought in a breakfast assortment with fresh fruit, pastries, rosemary potatoes, French toast, bagels, juice, coffee, etc. etc. etc. :) I picked out the vegan options and enjoyed one two big plates for lunch. I haven’t “come out” to my new coworkers yet, so no photo!
I had snacks and dinner too, but with no photos we’ll just move on to the best part of today: my bike ride and yoga!
I’ve been itching for a solid bike ride and today was the perfect day for one. The weather was crisp with just a slight chill to the air. I rode a respectable 20 miles at a 6.4 mi. pace. (fyi- I post all my workouts here.)
And then Katy and I went to yoga at CPY!! We took the 6:30pm 90-min. power yoga class and it was awesome. We definitely sweat quite a bit and I know I let out a few grunts! It’s amazing what a good flow will do to you :)
Now I’m researching upcoming races and playing with my Garmin. Almost time for bed!
