Ooops. I put a Flat-Out wrap in the toaster (which I often do) and a few minutes later I come to find this, although when I found it there was still a flame burning. The toaster was thrown out and the whole house still smells like smoke!
Photographing my meals has been sporadic since I was doing the cruise recaps, but I did want to share this beauty of a breakfast (served with OJ): a pink lady apple, almonds and a grilled Dr. Praeger’s veggie burger! Didn’t keep me full (I need my carbs!), but it was so yummy!
I made the pasta dish below for David last night. He was going to make regular pasta with tomato sauce and an organic chicken breast. I switched it up a little and made pasta with 1/2 a baked organic chicken breast, broccoli, garbanzo beans, garlic, lemon, olive oil and spices. He still had his chicken, but in my dish it was 1/2 from animal and 1/2 from beans. And in my version he got veggies and healthy fats from the olive oil! He loved it :)
Speaking of David, we went to a Creed concert Tuesday! David took me on a cruise for our anniversary and I took him to this concert. Festivities are officially over… until my birthday next Saturday! It’s the big 2-1!
What did you do/will you do for your 21st birthday?
