Here's a post to fill you in on some of my healthy ashley purchases for running, weight and mind maintenance. (Please excuse the low, low quality photos. I forgot to pack my sturdy USB cord for my actual camera.)
1) First off, my Tanita scale. Yes, it is amazing. I hope the number (slightly) shifting downward isn't just a defect! I'm not sure of which one I bought, but I love it. I don't know how to operate it, but it is so cool!
2) After POM's rave reviews, I bought myself a pair of Brooks running shorts. Oh my, they are fantastic! I'm wearing them right now. They don't bunch or stick or get all sweaty. Every part of the shorts is flattering, comfortable and amazing. As a result, I became a perfect runner.
3) This little beauty came today! No longer could I lug my big iPod everywhere. Whether I was dropping the Blackberry or the iPod at Mile 3, it was not good. I found a refurbished, newest generation iPod Shuffle through the Apple store for $40.00 with free shipping. It came today and I can't see any sign that anyone used this. Maybe they just reused the inside parts? It was in a fancy schmancy box and everything. The sound quality was great and it is so small that I kept forgetting I was wearing it!
In running news, I ran 4 miles in the city of Tampa in the rain today with my new gear. Running down the old streets with high-rises and character at every turn reminds me why I love my new apartment!
--What objects do you need for running, weight loss/maintenance, to get trough the day, etc.? Since many of my items were the results of recommendations, I'd love to hear from you!--
