I can already feel today is going to be a great day! Today is my first day off in a while so I’m excited to get a lot done. My to-do list includes washing my car and buying new pedals and shoes for my bike!
I began the day with a Whole Foods organic wheat English muffin (that’s a mouthful!) topped with jam and homemade almond butter. I just used the last of my AB so I’ll post my recipe when I make more. My yummy muffin was served with a banana :)
I have several big races coming up:
April 15ht- Corporate 5k
April 18th- Sugarloaf Metric Century
April 25th- possibly this tri
May 2nd- New Jersey Marathon
May 16th- Florida Half Ironman
These races are challenging because they’re so different! I have to pay extra attention to my workouts to make sure I’m properly trained for all of the events. Most important are two long runs for the marathon, plenty of bike rides and as much time in the pool as possible.
Here’s what I’m planning for next week:
Monday- 1,000 m. swim, 20 mi.+ bike, yoga
Tuesday- 6 mi. run, strength
Wednesday- 1,500 m. swim, 10 mi. bike, yoga
Thursday- 15 mi. run + 5k race (got to fit the long run in somewhere!)
Friday- 1,000 m. swim, bike
Saturday- 5 mi. run
Sunday- Metric RACE
Monday- OFF :)
Have a great Sunday!
