It’s only three days into the year and I’m already making serious progress on my 2010 goals!
I’m excited to announce I am officially registered for the Croom 50k (31 mile) race!
Yes, I believe I can handle it. No, I don’t think I’ll suffer from any overuse injuries.
I rest, cross train, practice yoga, eat well and listen to my body. Following the rules I posted here has led me to one (almost two) full marathons injury-free.
So here’s what my upcoming race calendar looks like:
1/10/10- Disney Marathon
2/28/10- Gasparilla Marathon
3/7/10- Disney Princess Half (TnT)
4/3/10- Croom 50k
5/16/10- FL Half Ironman
I can’t wait! I’m working on a training plan for the next 5 months so I don’t forget any of these races!
And apparently this is the only photo I took of my food this weekend: a green monster. Oh well, I’ll have good food to share tomorrow! Happy 2010 all! Here’s to a great first Monday back to real life!
